Reflexology

Reflexology treatment involves a foot massage, followed by pressures applied to reflex points on the foot which correlate to a part or organ of the body.

Reflexology works on the principle that parts of the body are stimulated, via pressures on reflex points on the feet, to bring about a change or response with the aim of creating homeostasis total balance in all body systems and mind. Therefore, reflexology aims to treat the body as a whole and not just the ailment you came to be treated for.

When working towards homeostasis, the body may go through some symptoms that may feel worse or uncomfortable before getting better in order for the body to heal itself e.g. headache, nausea, etc which can last for a couple of hours or a couple of days.

As an individual, your body is unique; therefore you will experience personalised benefits, depending on your aims and expectations of the treatment.
